Why join an association
This is a question I have asked myself hundreds of times.
It depends upon the association you are looking at.Most are absolutely useless, wanting you to join and giving nothing in return.

Hopefully Individual Cleaners is  different. We are not affiliated with any supplier, Training Body or Manufacturer.

In fact we are an association of Cleaners, Carpet Cleaners and Restorers. Individual cleaners, small cleaning operations and Restoration companies.

Our primary aim is Business Development.
We offer Mentoring, Networking and recommend areas of Training that will help in the development of building your business. We have found through our networking the word competition has all but disappeared and replaced with co-operation. Members helping members, passing on work and talking through any problems with each other.
We have a great relationship with the major associations of the cleaning industry, and training groups.

What we are trying to achieve
Recognition of the cleaner as an important member of the community.
To offer a starting point for those wanting to get into the Cleaning, Carpet Cleaning and Restoration.

Cleaning is a TRADE,

Through asset maintenance certificate 11, 111 and 1V.
However few cleaners want to get involved in training.

We see training as a career path, the more achieved the higher you can go within the company you work for, or the more you can offer as an Individual Cleaner satisfying your customers needs and being able to charge more for your services.

I hope you feel comfortable with Individual Cleaners as your association, as a member you  tell us what you want from your association and we will try to achieve your needs.
