About Us

If you are a qualified cleaner, carpet cleaner or Restorer, living and working in Australia or New Zealand, you may wish to apply for membership to Individual Cleaners.

Our postnominals (ICAM, ICM, ICAF and ICF) are Australia’s only independent  cleaning benchmark that
recognises practical, not just educational, cleaning experience.

We are not an educational or training body, nor are we affiliated with any.
We are not affiliated with any manufacturers, or suppliers, but maintain a good relationship with them.
We are an association of Cleaners, carpet cleaners and Restorers.

What do our postnominals represent.

ICAM ; associate member,( non voting)
completed OH&S entery or Certificate 11 Asset Maintenance cleaning / Carpet Cleaning, or has been in the Industry for over twelve months.

ICM; Member ( Full voting) ,
Qualified from ACCI, IICRC,WoolSafe, Certificate 111 Asset Maintenance cleaning / Carpet Cleaning ( Trade qualifications), Restoration qualifications or over 5 years experience.

ICAF; associate fellow (Full voting)
Trade qualification as member, Certificate 1V Asset Maintenance Cleaning, Restoration qualifications  or over 15 years experience.

ICF; Fellow ( Full Voting)
Trade qualifications; Associate Diploma in Cleaning, Certified Cleaning Licence, Certificate 1V Training and Assessment, Restoration qualifications, University Degree or over 20 years experience.

We are an association of highly qualified Cleaners, Carpet Cleaners and Restorers, that encourage our members to actively participate.
